Guascor SFGLD360 natural gas fueled power generation system, designed for continuous operation

676 kW, at 77 deg F, 650 kW at 100 deg F,  277/480 volts, 3 phase, 60 Hz, with controls and heat recovery devices  as described below.

Engine:  Guascor turbocharged and intercooled, low BMEP, high efficiency engine, model SFGLD360, 12 cylinder, 36 liter displacement, rated 700 kWm at 1800 rpm under ISO conditions

·       Water cooled exhaust manifold

·      Low pressure fuel system, 14” w.c. – 3.5 psi

·       NFPA 37 gas train

·       Electronic load sharing governor

·       Air/fuel ratio controller

·       Fuel mixer

·       High efficiency electronic ignition system

·       Pressure lubrication by gear driven pump.

·       Lube oil cooler

·       Spin on oil filters

·       Electric pre/post lubrication pump

·       Extra oil capacity sump

·       Auto makeup lubrication system

·       Electric water pumps for low parasitic engine load (shipped loose)

·       Jacket water heater, 2500 watt, 120 volt

·       24 VDC starter motor

·       Exhaust emissions, raw:

NOx: <9 tons per year

CO: <15.6 tons per year

NMHC: <6.5 tons per year

Generator: Marathon model 574RSL4036, 12 lead, rated 670 kWe at 480 volts, 80 deg C continuous duty temperature rise over 40 deg C ambient. Generator is single bearing type. Bearing is B10 rated 40,000 hours.

·       Permanent magnet excitation, 300% current for 10 seconds

·       Digital voltage regulator with VAR/PF control

·       Excitation limiter built in to VR functionality

·       Six stator RTDs

The engine and generator are mounted on Seismic zone 2 spring vibration isolators to a structural steel base frame designed to support the unit weight and maintain alignment.

This system was fully maintained by an authorized Guascor distributor, and was in excellent running condition when it was taken out of service.
