Kraft Power Announces Appointment by GE as Approved Waukesha Provider


Woburn MA, April 30, 2014-Kraft Power, a distributor and service provider for industrial engines, power generation systems, and heavy duty transmission equipment today announced that it is an “Approved Waukesha Provider” for GE’s Waukesha* gas engines group, a segment of GE Power and Water’s Distributed Power business.

As an Approved Waukesha Provider, Kraft Power will have access to spark ignited Waukesha gas engines and power generation systems for sale within 16 states in the central and northeastern USA. Kraft Power will also provide authorized Waukesha gas engine warranty service, overhauls and remanufactured engines, and the complete range of Genuine Waukesha service parts.

GE manufactures Waukesha gas engines for use in gas compression, power generation, and mechanical drive applications. Waukesha gas engines are designed to operate within a wide range of fuels including natural gas, wellhead gas and biogas.

Kraft Power has extensive experience with Waukesha gas engine applications, service and parts. Kraft currently operates five distribution and service facilities within the central and northeastern US regions, and is equipped to provide authorized service to Waukesha gas engines in applications including gas compression and power generation.

As an Approved Waukesha Provider, Kraft Power will be able to provide enhanced services to its installed population of Waukesha gas engines for the rapidly growing number of these engines operating on gas compressors in the Marcellus, Utica and Antrim shale plays.
